He m Jane d.1639 daughter of William Whitmore d.1593 haberdasher of Balmes Manor, Hackney and Apley Hall, Shropshire. (Jane m2 Henry Dennis 1638 ++ and is buried at Bath Abbey )

==His father Bishop John Still had bought the manor of Hutton and Hutton Court house from lord of the manor Nicholas Payne in 1604 who was in financial difficulties. He passed the estate to Nathaniel who built the western part of the court. The estate including the Court, 2 gardens, 80 acres of meadow, 50 acres of pasture and 100 acres of other land. passed via his daughter Anne to the Codringtons .
