Chancel with 1638 rails ordered by Archbishop Laud - A visitation question from the Bishop of Norwich asked every parish "is your communion table enclosed, and ranged about with a rail of joiners and turners work, close enough to keep dogs from going in and profaning the holy place?" (Laud was subsequently accused of popery, put in the Tower and beheaded in 1644.)
The east chancel window was rebuilt and enlarged in 1822
