Macro with on camera flash
So, for this one there was a greater difference between the three images. The point and shoot was not able to focus as closely and because there is no hot shoe it cannot use an external flash. The Canon Rebel has a hot shoe, but also has a built-in flash. So for this test I used the built in flash. The 5D Mark II does not have a built in flash, so I had to use and external flash. I used the same macro lens on both the Rebel and 5D Mark II (Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM). This is one of the situations where the point and shoots can't really compare to a high-end dslr.
