Quantify yourself

I have recently (read since a year or 2) developed an interest for collecting data about our daily lives. How much coffee do you have, how many hours do you sleep, how many calories do you absorb, how long are you productive, how much time do you spend on a particular task, etc. You get the point. There is an impressive amount of literature on the topic. This idea of quantifying yourself has also been recently supported by the development of numerous tracking devices (Fitbit, etc.) and web services (daytum.com, rescuetime.com, etc.) I'm not so sure yet where I'm going with this, and to be honest, it sounds a bit creepy too. I'll keep thinking and reading about it a bit more....
