They don't let you try the item till you buy it, and then once bought, if you want to return it and the package is open (and you need to open it to try it!), they charge you 15% for "repackaging". You purchase it at the counter and then they give you a ticket so you pay at a separate cash till. There's a one year guaranteed but only valid in US and Canada.
I went to try the camara at the City Hall Park that is in front (by the way, the park is very nice with streetlights with small, live fires inside) and when it strongly started to rain (again!!) I went inside the Starbucks next door to have a coffee and read the manual.

No te dejan probarlo hasta que lo compras, y una vez comprado, si lo quieres devolver y está abierto el paquete (¡y necesitas abrirlo para probarlo!), te cobran 15% por "reembalarlo". Lo compras en el mostrador y luego te dan un billete para que lo pagues en un caja aparte. Tiene un año de garantía pero solo válida en EEUU y Canadá.
Yo me fui al Parque de City Hall (ayuntamiento) que está enfrente a probarla (el parque muy bonito por cierto con farolas con pequeñas llamas vivas dentro) y cuando volvió a empezar a llover (¡de nuevo!) fuertemente me metí en el Starbucks de al lado a tomar un latte y leerme el manual de instrucciones.
