AMTK 160 Eastbound #6 at Ottumwa IA
Some probably think we were crazy on Friday, but a unanimous vote in our car took us from the CP passenger train shots at Foster Bridges, to shots of #6 with the Pepsi Can leader. I gave chase to the CP passenger train Friday to Ottumwa so the boys could see it, but man we were surprised to find out #6 was late with the 160 leading. Unfortunately the CP train was the hottest thing around, so the BNSF held trains and delayed Amtrak even further into Ottumwa. Here the California Zephyr get going again after station stop now down 3'-41". My favorite paint scheme Amtrak ever had...happy decisions made!
