IANR 3803 Southbound Military train at Manly IA
The 1133rd Transportation Company out of Mason City loaded equipment bound for Corpus Christi, TX, at the Manly Logistic Park. Unfortunately getting the train together and air tested, plus getting across the UP, took way longer than I expected. By the time the train took off from south Yard Limits at Manly, the sun had set. It was pretty disappointing, as this is the 1st time the IANR has done a military train. Here the job shoved the loop at Manly for the air test. The train would make a night run to Cedar Rapids with 67 flat cars in tow.
