MRL 4306 Helper on Westbound GWRKVAW9-01 at Austin MT
Trying not to be embarrassed while doing the MRL in Montana, we referenced the Danneman's Montana stuff this week. This shot angle caught our eye and we wanted it in our portfolio too. A westbound Vancouver bound grain train climbs as they make their way over Mullan Pass. At Austin one can watch the train work up the 2.2% grade for about 3 miles with 4 MRL manned helpers cut-into the train. It is an experience I would highly recommend to anyone! Over 30,000 horses vs gravity is an impressive show! Thanks for the inspiration Mike and Tom!
