CN 2257 Eastbound M33891-24 East of Raymond IA
On Christmas Even the CN got somewhat creative and ran a doubled up ethanol train instead of the normal 338 with Iowa freight traffic. The lack of people probably drove the decision? The train was setup 3x2 with 182 loads (100/82 car trains) and around 24,000 tons. Here the train is 8 miles into the trip towards Chicago as they roll east out of Raymond. Surprisingly couple BCOL barns are helping the cause. The 4602 here on the headend and 4618 in the DP consist.
