AMTK 156 Eastbound #4 at Gorin MO
Its Monday October 12th, 2020. On this Monday changes would go effect making this the 1st day of tri-weekly service between Chicago and LA for the Southwest Chief. Unfortunately long distance trains are getting the cuts in October from Amtrak due to Covid, or so they claim. As the week goes on everything from equipment, people, and traditions will change as this segment changes to 3 day a week service.
