IC 9601 Eastbound IEI Coal Jesup IA
The IEI Barge coal contract was a coal contract that ran for many years from the west-side of Iowa to the east-side and to East Dubuque. These trains has seen the variation of power combinations over the years. Back in 1998 the IC still had geeps along for the ride with the run thru BNSF power. They were mainly needed for the ATS west of Waterloo. The trio of BNSF units has one of the ex-natural gas painted unit 2nd out. Here the train rolls thru Jesup east of Waterloo.
