UP 2706 Eastbound CNAWK East of Mechanicsville IA
Well I went out today to get the 1995....what I got was a dispatcher hopefully using the excuse it was his 1st day, a Train Manager telling crews how to do their job, MofW people arguing and fighting in form B's instead of moving trains, a train that had to setout badorder mid-train DP unit, a train in emergency, 5-6 eastbounds moving total 40 miles in 4 hours, and the best was the 1995 falling 30 miles short of me at sunset. Dummy railroading at its best today in Iowa.
Guessing the runner up shot was this coal train with a newer GE on the point near sunset. Never know anymore what the UP will put on their coal trains? For years it was ugly GE/AC's, but it has been getting interesting what variety is on them lately.
