Today I'm stealing @saradawn 's meme. :)

When were you diagnosed: June 1998. (I actually don't remember the actual date.)
What's your current blood sugar: 135
What kind of meter do you use: OneTouch Ultramini, or the OneTouch UltraLink
How many times a day do you test your blood sugar: 15+
What's a "high" number for you: It really depends. How long has it been since i've eaten anything? anything over 160 for a two hour post prandial is high for me. And anything over 140 the rest of the time.
What's do you consider "low": Under 70
What's your favorite low blood sugar reaction treater: Clif shot bloks.
Describe your dream endo: someone who is empathetic and who realizes that diabetes is not your whole life.
What's your biggest diabetes achievement: Running 3 half marathons.
What's your biggest diabetes-related fear: Losing a limb
Who's on your support team: my husband and my fabulous family and all my awesome friends!
Do you think there will be a cure in your lifetime: A real cure? honestly, no. But I think there will be enough advancements in technology that I can live just as long a life without any complications as anyone else.
What is a "cure" to you: Any treatment that will keep my bg within normal range without effort from me - the artificial pancreas, maybe?
The most annoying thing people say to you about your diabetes is: "you eat so healthy because you have to." (not true.)
What is the most common misconception about diabetes: That i can't eat anything with sugar in it.
If you could say one thing to your pancreas, what would it be: I've always said I had an immune system of steel, but I really didn't mean it quite so literally!
