gutted case w/ power buttons and ports

I already started on wiring the port cables (I was anxious!), but this also shows how the setup is for the power button cabling. I should have taken a closer picture of the power button board, but it's really just a simple PCB board. Both the power and reset button share a common ground, so that was a bit tricky, but everything worked out after some finagling.

 

One point to note: the power button is not a momentary switch, like you would find in a traditional computer case. So, to bypass that, you can either open up the switch and break the tab or just not press the button down the whole way. I chose to do the latter because when i tried to open up the switch I almost broke the side tabs and didn't want to risk completely ruining the button.
