Group Photo

We've had cloudy and rainy weather for the past 10 days, not conducive for photography. When I visited Mud Lake yesterday, the weather was no better, and all I could find were Mallards and Canada Geese. Mallards are very common in our area and are often ignored by photographers in favour of more exotic species. However, Mallard drakes in breeding plumage are some of the prettiest of our local waterfowl, as seen in this group photo of two drakes and a female.
