I hesitate somewhat to post this for Martha's still::body week even though I had that in mind when I took the photo. It feels and is more portraiture than still life, I think. Even so, I've decided to follow my intention rather than being guided by the results. Martha, feel free to remove it from the group if you think it's inappropriate. And if anyone has ideas as to how I might more successfully include my eyes in a still life, I'd love to hear them. Perhaps something that involves a mirror... Exploring this idea could be something that occupies me for the entire week.
As for why I'm posting this to the reasons to love winter group (another of Martha's creations), that would be the scarf. Winter is all about scarves. You're not likely to catch me without one from October through March. I live in MN. Winters are long. Scarves are warm.
