St Peter's

In the Castle Park area of Bristol is the ruin of St Peter's Church. It was a church in the bustling Castle part of the city which was heavily bombed in the Bristol Blitz in November 1940. The raids killed nearly 1,300 people and the bombed out church has been preserved as memorial to those killed. The area was not rebuilt and has become a park.
