Juvenile Great Egrets ready to explore.

It's is almost a mile walk into the hot humid swamp to get to the rookery, but before I turn the corner the sounds of the Egret Egret Juveniles squawking let me know the few later born ones are still around. Any day now I know they will take off for their last flight from their nest to explore their new world!
