Shenandoah Sends Group To Work At The Super Bowl
2-5-19 | Sun-E Photo of the Day: Seven Shenandoah University students were chosen through a selective process from over 20 applicants to work at Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta, Georgia. The services of the Sport Business Association (SBA) were specifically requested after the SBA volunteered at the 2018 College Football Playoff in Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium last year. Last week, students worked closely with National Football League on-location experiences as well as the Atlanta Host Committee. Students saw firsthand the planning that goes into the operation and production of one of the most widely recognized sporting events in the world. They drew upon their critical thinking skills and prior knowledge of the stadium to assist in way finding and media credentialing.
Sport management students and alumni Casey Edsall '16, '18, who also earned an M.B.A.; Jared Lowry '19; Michael Nguyen '19; Tyler Pavlock '20; Tyler Kilimonis '20; Jackson Strickler '20; Jacob Morris '21; and Jason Euman '21, participated in the experience. (PHOTOS: Sports Business Association)
