January 1, 2020 - Happy New Year! I am looking forward to new discoveries in this new year...my 8th year of Photo-a-Day
January 2 - I think I'm going to enjoy finding and photographing the old barns in my new neck of the woods this year - they come in all colors, shapes, sizes and ages...it's like a barn buffet.
January 3 - When I saw the prompt today was straight leading lines I knew right where to head...
January 5 - Though the eagle action is slowing down, you can still get lucky...
January 6 - The best way to start...any day of the week.
January 7 - Why I dislike Self Portrait Day 1 - I don't like taking pictures of myself 2 - They are technically hard to do - Why I like Self Portrait Day 1 - I learn a lot about using my camera 2 - I like seeing everyone else's self portraits

January 9 - Craig is always happy when I photograph blueberries, because he knows that Blueberry Muffins aren't far behind...
January 10 - Since this is the first time in my life that I don't have flowers blooming in my yard year around, I've been keeping fresh flowers on the counter to help keep the smile on my face.

January 20 - Over the past week my wonderful friends and family have kept this flower starved gal stocked with beautiful blooms...

February 1 - I'm a get up and get going kinda gal...
February 2 - No disrespect to Punxsutawney Phil (who lives 2,308 miles away), but I find it difficult to believe that spring is just around the corner here in North Idaho...
February 3 - Some cookies can't be homemade...
February 4 - Today is soup day, and there will be some lovely homemade Tomato Basil Bisque tonight for dinner. However, at 9:00 this morning there is no soup and just a very busy day ahead...so instead of soup we have a "Bowl Full of Love"
February 5 - The weatherman said there was 100% chance of snow today...and he was 100% correct
February 6 - Another day, another drive...

February 19 - My first visit to the Post Falls Dam. I'll go again, but maybe next time wait until it's above 30 degrees...
February 20 - We are currently 'pet less'...but this Hairy Woodpecker seems to have adopted our backyard as his home.
February 21 - This was taken last month, but I just loved this little yellow barn. No snow today - a sunny 47 degrees...almost time to break out the flip flops

March 12 - Today is Plant A Flower Day. Because all the planted flowers in my yard are now brown sticks that my neighbors assure me will grow again once spring arrives, my photo today is from my trip to Descanso Gardens last week.
March 13 - Just a little makes a big difference...
March 14 - It's 16 degrees with snow blowing sideways, so what do we do?? Craig & Janice go for a drive...

March 17 - I cancelled two trips today. One, the long awaited meet up with my 365 photo friends in Washington DC - - so to counteract the bad news I've decided to post only happy cheerful photos for the rest of the week...and maybe beyond that.

March 21 - We did a drive by yesterday to check on our local apple and cherry blossoms, and I'm going to have to be patient a while longer. Glad I got to soak in some of the beauty in Southern California...

April 1 - April Fools! The local turkeys have been quite "busy" lately. As impressive as this handsome fellow is - it's not working so well with the ladies...

April 7 - Last weekend I was to be in Washington DC with my 365 Picture Today friends. Since that was cancelled we are getting together "virtually" with our fancy new t-shirts. I may not be able to travel...but I can still bake!
April 8 - I looked and looked for a little beak...but I couldn't see one yet.
April 9 - Flowers have arrived!!!!!
April 10 - Do your ears hang low? Do they wobble to and fro? Can you tie 'em in a knot? Can you tie 'em in a bow?
April 11 - When all you have with you is your cellphone...that's what you use
