October 6 - This is all I've got today. We have an early wake up call tomorrow morning to head back to Idaho and leave the 100 degree temps of Dallas behind.

October 15 - A break from fall colors. Spent the morning at the BMW exhibit where I took zero photos of cars. While the guys oohed and aahed, Jenn and I found other entertainment.

October 30 - A year ago I was practicing photographing hummingbirds in flight - now I'm practicing shooting eagles in flight...

November 1 - Beginning 30 Days of Thankfulness. I am incredibly thankful this year for the seasons. I am totally in awe of fall...it's been like Christmas for my eyes.
November 2 - Day 2 of 30 Days of Thankfulness. I am so thankful for the color blue and for the stunning Steller Jays that hang out in my backyard...God makes cool stuff!
November 3 - Day 3 of 30 Days of Thankfulness. Day in and day out I am thankful for God's beautiful artistry...It is everywhere.
November 4 - Day 4 of 30 Days of Thankfulness. I'm thankful for guides that help me find the treasures I'm looking for. We've definitely gotten our money's worth out of this one.
November 5 - Day 5 of 30 Days of Thankfulness. I'm thankful for a hobby (and it's not fishing) where I can study, and practice and continue to grow. And I'm more than thankful for a spouse who supports and helps me with what I'm trying to acheive.
November 6 - Day 6 of 30 Days of Thankfulness. Today's prompt is Friendship. I am so thankful for time spent with friends. Spending time together; whether it's hanging out or chatting on the phone is such a blessing.
November 7 - Day 7 of 30 Days of Thankfulness. I'm thankful for change. I don't always like it and it hasn't always been easy, but it has been a good thing and I'm thankful for it.

November 13 - Day 13 of 30 Days of Thankfulness. I'm thankful for eyes that can see...
November 14 - Day 14 of 30 Days of Thankfulness. Today I am thankful for the sunshine. I spent several hours today shooting eagles. The sun provides such good light for these shots...and I also only had to wear one coat.
November 15 - Day 15 of 30 Days of Thankfulness. I'm thankful for creativity...it feeds my soul.
November 16 - Day 16 of 30 Days of Thankfulness. "He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul." ...and I am thankful.
November 17 - Day 17 of 30 Days of Thankfulness. "All I have needed Thy hand hath provided." ...and I am thankful.
November 18 - Day 18 of 30 Days of Thankfulness. I'm thankful that I'm getting my bearings in this new place. I'm learning where to find the sunset (which currently occurs at about 4:00 ), where to watch it and new ways to ways to photograph it.
November 19 - Day 19 of 30 Days of Thankfulness. I'm thankful that as I sit and watch these eagles, I have the opportunity to get acquainted with other local photographers.
November 20 - Day 20 of 30 Days of Thankfulness. I'm thankful this old dog can learn new tricks...
November 21 - Day 21 of 30 Days of Thankfulness. I'm thankful for a quiet morning on the lake...even if it was 30 degrees.

November 23 - Day 23 of 30 Days of Thankfulness. I am very thankful for a husband that supports my hobby. He is always willing to drive to some out of the way place, wait patiently while I find the perfect shot...and even model for me if I ask.
November 24 - Day 24 of 30 Days of Thankfulness. I'm thankful for tools that help me grow.
November 25 - Day 25 of 30 Days of Thankfulness. Today I'm thankful for time...Time to sit, time to watch, time to photograph.
November 26 - Day 26 of 30 Days of Thankfulness. When Thanksgiving strolls right through your backyard 😲...Truthfully, I’m very thankful that God created turkeys, because thanksgiving dinner is my favorite meal of the year.

November 29 - Day 29 of 30 Days of Thankfulness. It was a brisk day on the Oregon coast but I was oh so thankful to be back at the beach listening to the waves breaking on the sand.

December 6 - It's the most wonderful time of the the year - - Someone told me once that what you eat between Thanksgiving and Christmas isn't as important as what you eat between Christmas and Thanksgiving...I'm going with that.
