October 31 - The most photographed tree at the Portland Japanese Garden. Last time I was here in the Fall the leaves had already dropped. I was happy to see it at pretty much it's peak color this time around...

November 27 - Where have all the Monarch Butterflies gone? They've migrated to Grover Beach Butterfly grove for the winter. They estimate there's 16,000-17,000 Monarchs hanging underneath the Eucalyptus branches in the grove.
