4/3/2016 Hail storm
Roms was off school again today. Bless her, really struggling with a cough, cold, sore throat and temperature. I was meant to be doing some extra hours at work today but had to cancel. Gave the kitchen a 2 hour spring clean (not so you'd notice now though).
Chase and Joshua wanted to walk home from school today but bang on school kicking out time the heavens opened and unleashed the biggest hail storm I think I've ever since. So Roms and I jumped in the car to their rescue. By the time we got home it was so heavy we had to camp out in the car until it had calmed down a bit. Closest to snow I think we'll see this year.
The Guinea pig cage is all set up for their arrival tomorrow. We have bought them a big outdoor hutch and run but as they are only 7 weeks old and the weather is still quite cold they will have to live indoors for a few weeks (in my nice, clean kitchen). Luckily I have been able to borrow an indoor cage for them. Roms is most excited!
