Finding the Light

This image, together with its partner (Towards the Light) illustrate the tension between light and dark in human society. Light brings life giving rise to a strong healthy forest. But, one type of plant,the trees, dominate preventing other species from flourishing. Only when we open (or preserve) a 'space' do we see new growth of other species and an increase in diversity. We need to maintain a balance if we are to get the most out of life.
