Wellington No. 115 with Auckland 115 in Foxton

During its time in preservation in Foxton, Wellington 115 shared the depot yard with Auckland 115 from April 1997 to July 2003 while Queen St. shuttle trolleybus 115 was on loan to Foxton from MOTAT.

Auckland 115 was in Foxton at the time for safekeeping preservation, understood to be because some members of the MOTAT museum board were in a "destructive mood" at that point in time.

No. 115 returned to MOTAT from Foxton on 8 July 2003.

Wellington City Transport No. 115 was the second of the Foxton trolleybuses to be scrapped since Wellington 107 was hauled away for scrapping on May 30, 2010, and Wellington 115 was observed outside Macaulay Metals scrapyard in Seaview Rd. in Lower Hutt, Wellington, on December 18, 2012.
