Compulsive New Zealand railfan reading

Cover photo by the late Keith Cullen, courtesy of Kevin Ward, shows Ww564 departing Onehunga station (Te Papapa) at the head of a subbie to Auckland on 4th September 1957.

Almost 57 years later on 28th April 2014, the first Auckland electric train services departed the same location.

In the magazine also is a memorial feature for Robin Gavin, who passed away on 12th May 2013, and after who the preserved English Electric set DM27+D163 were dubbed "Red Robin".
