La Paix de 1815 ( The Peace of 1815)
Zoomed-in side view of La Paix de 1815 (also referred to as ‘The Peace’), produced by the French artist Antoine Étex, commemorates the Treaty of Paris, concluded in that year. It’s one of the four main sculptural groups on each of the Arc's pillars.
It is located on the left hand side outer pillar when facing the Avenue des Champs Elysees and leaving the Avenue de la Grande Armee behind your back, and it includes seven major sculptures: four men, a woman, a child and a horse, in addition other objects; all symbolizing peace.
I’m sure there’s a lot of photos for full statue group out there, but I decided to bring a different PoV against the blue sky.
