Spotless Mind

So I was vacuuming and decided I needed a break. And there was this clean spot right there, on the floor. So I sat down in it. And then I noticed how my shoes came together, the curvy way they met. Right there, in front of me, on the floor. Then, I don’t know, I was just looking around at the bookshelves and saw this book “A Bend in the River,” and I didn’t think anything about it. You know, you pick a book up then you put it down. So it just came to me that I hadn’t taken a picture of my feet in a long time—at least not intentionally—and I thought I’d take one. That’s when I put the book down on my feet so I could pick up the camera. Now tell me this: when was the last time somebody told you how great art is made?
