Kafka, Sure

Look, I think this is a conversion,

a mountain-out-of-molehill

kind of thing. Moles won’t live

in them anymore; they want something

with a view. I don’t want to debate

the issue, I just want you to open

your eyes and see it my way, is that

so hard to understand. I’m pretty

and you’re smart so we make a good

team and team-building is of the moment.

And I never said Hitler was a good guy;

I said painters are frequently misunderstood.

Martin and Lewis, Abbott and Costello,

those guys knew something and it was

big. Derrida, I can take him or leave him.

Kafka, sure, he was great at what he did.

You can scrape it off with your tongue

or dip it in milk. It’s good either way.

Music has to be played loud otherwise it

doesn’t get into your soul and eat away

at your stomach lining. Sure, I could shut up

but what would that prove. Why do you do that

to your finger; it could get infected. So here’s

another example. When they find life on

another planet, you know what its first words

will be. Call me crazy but you have beautiful

armpits. I can see the Alps from here.
