Ladies At The Laundrette.
I think maybe this weeks contribution from me will be more for the ladies amongst us. (I'll do my best to get one for the guys in the near future!) ;-)
This is the local laundrette just a short walk down the road from me.
It must be 20odd years since I used a laundrette (in the UK) but from what I can remember of it there isn't any difference apart from the laundrettes here are open fronted.
There are tables just out of shot on the right where the ladies sit and have a natter waiting for their washing to finish.
It's more a social club, they can get a bit rowdy at times,
from what I can gather the older ladies give the younger ladies advise on how to run a husband. (no change there then!)
I included the water machine (they are just behind the lad's head) because this where I get my น้ำการดื่ม (phonetic, naam gaan deuum) drinking water from.
I nearly forgot ladies, the price for a 30kg load is 30Baht, call it about 70 pence!
