Ornate Katydid (Scambophyllum)

Photographed in Penang, Malaysia. This stunning insect had the most startling display when disturbed. As if sky blue, bright green and yellow body parts aren't colourful enough, the outer wing cases fold back to reveal a bright scarlet inner.
