Silky Oaks

No this is not Autumn color, this is Springtime in Australia and the Silky Oaks are in bloom in all their glory. These trees are native to Queensland and are found in northern NSW on the edge of the rainforests. Near Kyogle NSW, Australia.

Grevillea robusta, commonly known as the southern silky oak, silk oak or silky oak, silver oak or Australian silver oak, is a flowering plant in the family Proteaceae. It is a tree, the largest species in its genus but is not closely related to the true oaks.
