Cross Upon The Mountain.

This cross on Mount Rubidoux, Riverside, Ca is dedicated to Father Junipero Serra the founder of the Missions, which were the first settlements of civilized man in California.

 

As I was climbing up the rocks the sun just peeked through an opening in the clouds, one shot and it was gone.

 

Easter sunrise service is held annually and hundreds make the trek for the occasion.
