Military Move

While finding the New England Southern running is a somewhat uncommon occurrence in itself, the move of 67 loaded military flatcars proved to be a much more noteworthy event for this tiny New Hampshire short line. Here, the railroad's sole power, an ex-SP SW1500, is seen hauling the first cut of 27 cars south from the transload and headquarters at Canterbury to the Pan Am interchange at Concord on a beautiful July morning.
