wrap of epic proportions

made of a vintage UFO

I discovered among my mother´s heritage

dating back to the sixties

 

she most likely wanted to crochet

a suit (jacket & skirt)

like the popular ensembles

of Jackie Kennedy

in that time period

 

I finished it by adding

lots of granny squares

in contrasting & matching art yarns

embroidered the retro parts

in order to create a big stole

 

the head-piece is a strand

of the used material

from my mother´s wool pool as well
