The North America Nebula, located in the direction of the star Deneb in the constellation Cygnus. This was the only thing good to come from an evening of frustrating equipment problems and virtually no sleep. Made from only 11 x 10' subframes, captured using an AT65 apo refractor and an SBIG ST4000 XCM camera, mounted on a Losmandy G11 mount. The location was the General Nathan Twinning Observatory (GNTO) in Belen, NM in the early hours of 7-4-2016. Image capture was interrupted by sunrise.
