Iris sibirica 'King Of Kings' 23W24 sib N4- (Varner 1982) Siberian Iris sib Beardless, Mature plant size: 34in, WHITE, White with green veining, green shaft on falls, USDA Hardiness Zone 3-9, Michigan Bloom Month 6b, In Garden Bed N4 for 20 MONTHS (Wayside). Planted in 2021.

 

AIS: 'King Of Kings' ( Steve Varner, R. 1982). Seedling S0135. SIB, height 33" (84 cm), Midseason to late bloom. White with green veining, green shaft on falls. 'Ode To Love' X 'Illini Encore'. Illini Iris 1983. Honorable Mention 1985; Award of Merit 1988; Morgan-Wood Medal 1990.

 

Large 3in.-4in. pure white flowers with touches of yellow on the central petals. Siberian iris is native from Central Europe to Russia. It grows in a wide range of conditions from the water's edge to well drained rocky hillsides. Does well in Michigan:)

 

Removed from e4 in 2021.
