Anemone x hybrida 'Max Vogel' WW35 Anemone G2- (Albert Schweitzer) Japanese Anemone Windflower, Mature plant size: 24x20in., pink, USDA Hardiness Zone 5, Michigan Bloom Week ISO WW33, In Garden Bed G2 for 5.2 YEARS (Bluestone). Planted in 2017.
Ranunculaceae family (ra-nun-kew-LAY-see-ee). AKA fall-blooming anemones. Two month fall bloom period. Spreads. Large, double soft pink flowers with recurving petalsd and frilly orange centers. Gets a 4 1/2 star rating from Chicago Botanic Garden. Filled out nicely in its second year. Lower mound of plant is around 2 feet, while some of the stems reach 4 feet. Agressive spreader, need to cull part of the plant. Planted in clay soil. aka Japanese anemone 'Elegans', Anemone x hybrida 'Albert Schweitzer'.
