Paeonia 'A.B. Franklin' 6/2022 Lactiflora N4- (Franklin, 1928) (4-DB-W) Lactiflora Cultivar Peony, Mature plant size: 32in., Light Blush, fading White, Late bloomer, USDA Hardiness Zone 3-8, Michigan Bloom Week ISO WW24, In Garden Bed N4 for 19 MONTHS (Wild). Planted in 2020.
Paeonia 'A B Franklin' (Franklin, 1928). Bred by Alonzo Barry Franklin, Franklin Nursery, Minneapolis, MN (1858-1944). Late flowering, large bloom. Pink blush fading to white, double. Fragrant. A very light blush when it first opens, fading white. APS Gold Medal 1933. Mr. Franklin released ~100 peonies, mostly between 1928-1942. A few are still popular today: Mrs. A. B. Franklin, President Franklin D. Roosevelt, Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Minuet.
This might be Solange? Saved 2 roots in 2020, planted together in N4. Did not flower in 2021. Usually has late buds that do not open. 2022: a couple of main buds and many side buds in WW23.
