Ranunculaceae family (ra-nun-kew-LAY-see-ee). AKA fall-blooming anemones. Two month fall bloom period. Spreads. Large, double soft pink flowers with recurving petalsd and frilly orange centers. Gets a 4 1/2 star rating from Chicago Botanic Garden. Filled out nicely in its second year. Lower mound of plant is around 2 feet, while some of the stems reach 4 feet. Agressive spreader, need to cull part of the plant.
