Hydrangea arborescens 'NCHA7' (marketed as Invincibelle® Mini Mauvette) has large mophead flowers that are deep mauve-violet (purplish) rather than the usual white (or pink). There are a few ""older"" pink cultivars like 'Eco Pink Puff', 'Wesser Falls', 'Pink Pincushion', and Chestatee. And several ""new"" pink cultivars in the Invincibelle® hydrangea series. However, this cultivar seems to have a somewhat unique color.
