Leptodermis oblongo
Common name is Baby Lilac. It does have lilac colored blooms in early July. It's easy to propagate, sends runners out that can be clipped and potted in the greenhouse. It's also a very short shrub. It's about one foot high in the first season. Great plant to put in your perennial garden. Actually, I plan on putting a few of these in my Dahlia garden.
