"Paeonia suffruticosa 'Souvenir de Maxime Cornu', 2017, (4-DB-Y) Japanese Tree [Peony] KIN-KAKU , pay-OHN-ee-uh suh-froo-tih -KOE-zuh, 5-6 ft Woody #Perennial, USDA Hardiness Zone 4, apricot, edged in dark pink, Bloom Month 5, In Garden Bed V2 f4.17 for 2.6 YEARS.

 

Deeply lobed mid-green leaves, and large, double, apricot flowers edged in dark-pink, in late spring until early summer. Flowers droop. ('Golden Temple of Nara'). Planted 2014. Lutea hybrid. Probably originations of Henry and Lemoine, renamed for the Japanese market. Aka JINKAKU. Not doing well early 2015. No buds 2015. First bloom in 2017.
