"Phalaris arundinacea 'Strawberries and Cream', 2017, [Canary Grass] Ribbon grass, FAL-ah-ris, 1 ft #Perennial #monocot, USDA Hardiness Zone 4, green & white, Bloom Month --, In Garden Bed H1 L2 for 7.2 YEARS.

Found tag in garage, probably the grass that I just culled in H1. Still have some in L2. Grass like plant that spreads via rhizomes. Forms a wide patch of medium height. Leaves are striped lengthwise with dark green and white, blushed with pink in spring and fall. Tan spikes in summer. I usuall burn it in spring. Easily divided, likes moisture. aka Phalaris arundinacea ‘Feesey’
