Old favorite. 6-8"" (15-20cm) deep purple-blue flowers with striking red tipped stamens. Mature height 8-12' (2.5-3.5m).Pruning group B2. Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society in 1993. Planted in 2009. Blooms from May-June and Sept.-Oct.
