Early Purple Orchid - Orchis mascula

My first "in flower" Long Purples shot for this season, boy are they scarce up here so far. During the warm spell in March signs were there that there would be a good show this year, I marked a few nice looking rosettes for later visits. They are now nowhere to be seen, the frosts during April must have taken their toll. This was the only bunch I could find today.
