Common Butterbur - Petasites hybridus

I went back for a few more Butterbur shots this morning; I find them so fascinating and so very, very photogenic...

 

The flower heads in particular are such amazing structures, usually appearing above ground long before the huge, rhubarb-like leaves even begin to show..
