Lesser Celandine - Ficaria verna

I have followed the development of this individual Celandine plant for a few seasons now. It grows in such a beautifully photogenic setting, within the shelter of it's own natural raised bed. Today was the first time I have managed to time a visit just right. I found the flowers fully open to the warm, morning sunshine and all were in a near perfect condition. In outdoor photography I have discovered it certainly pays dividends to make return visits to a favourite subject or location.
