Lords-and-Ladies - Arum maculatum

I managed a wee wander down through Benholm Wood this morning, gently, gently though, certainly no heroics. It was so good to be out again and to catch up with how things are coming on this spring. The Cuckoo-pint looked quite superb in the dappled spring light. There are no signs of any spathes developing yet but in these wonderful lighting conditions I find the lush green leaves so photogenic and I simply just can't pass them by.
