Ramsons - Allium ursinum....

Foggybummer and I spent this morning in the Stonehaven area, trying to find a sheltered spot, away from the persistent high winds we seem to have had here for months on end. First stop was at the flooded end of Dunnottar Woods, down amongst the amazing masses of Wild Garlic. It's a particularly beautiful and very photogenic plant at every stage of its development. It grows en masse in a very much, regimented, equally spaced out, fashion appearing almost as if it had been intentionally planted out that way.
